ROSES

This tutorial was written by Aud Irene Mars 1,2008,and any

resemblance to other tutorials is purely coincidental.

The tutorial is made with PsP Xl.

In this tutorial you will need : PsP Xl or another version af PSP.

A trial version PsP 9 can you download here

1 Image, I have used the image '36_stvalentin'.

1. Open your image in psp.

2. Resize the width to 450px, like this,all layers checked.

3. Duplicate,and minimize one of them for later use.

4. On the duplicated layer> Blur>Gaussian blur with 35.

5.Duplicate the layer with gaussian blur.Image>mirror.

Set the opacity to 50%

( For change the opacity you rightclick on layerpalette,and click properties)

Close the bottom layer.

This it what you shall have now:

6. Merge visible

7.Selection>Select all>modify >contract with 50

8.Selection invert.

9.Promote selection to layer

10. On the selected layer : Texture>FineLeather

Keep selected!

11.Effects>drop shadow> with 4-4-50-8,color black.

12. Repeat drop shadow,but with -4.

Select None.

13.Selection>MagicWand with this setting:

14. Click into the transparent part of your image.

15. Copy the minimized image(from step 3)

and past into selection.Select none.

16.Merge visible

17.Image>Add borders with 3px, black.

18 Texttool,add your text.I used this setting:

19.Merge all, save as jpg
